NCAA

The NCAA, or National Collegiate Athletic Association, is a nonprofit organization in the United States that regulates student-athletes from over 1,200 colleges and universities. Established in 1906, its primary purpose is to oversee and ensure the fair and equitable conduct of collegiate sports. The NCAA sets rules and standards regarding eligibility, scholarships, and the organization of championships for various sports. It operates three main divisions—Division I, Division II, and Division III—each with different levels of competition and scholarship opportunities. The NCAA aims to promote the educational and athletic experiences of college students while maintaining a commitment to sportsmanship, integrity, and the well-being of student-athletes.
