Sporting Lisbon

Sporting Lisbon, officially known as Sporting Clube de Portugal (SCP), is a professional sports club based in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 1906, the club is best known for its football (soccer) team, which competes in the Primeira Liga, the top division of Portuguese football. Sporting is one of the “Big Three” clubs in Portugal, alongside Futebol Clube do Porto and S.L. Benfica. The club’s colors are green and white, and its home matches are played at the Estádio José Alvalade.
